Overview
Our research focuses on three main subjects:
TheoryA detailed analysis is necessary to understand how CI methods work. This encompasses theoretical results on the methods' capabilities under varying conditions. |
OperationalizationThe success of applying CI methods is especially dependent on the practitioner's expert knowledge and intuition. To be able to provide less experienced users with solutions, we develop formal guidelines how to transfer theoretical concepts to the application in a reliable way. |
ApplicationsBesides classical applications in mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineering, problems from entertainment are an emerging topic. |
